5/2/15 - Today We Played Tourists.

We took a trip to the Chief Plenty Coups State Park in Pryor, Montana.

This state park is situated within the Crow Reservation near the base of the Pryor Mountains, this park was the home of Chief Plenty Coups, the last chief of the Crow Indians. Plenty Coups' log home & store, which are a National Historic Landmark, remain as evidence of the Chief's efforts in bringing two cultures together.

Statue of the chief.

This was the Chief's log cabin.

These are the inside walls. You can see that they are actually logs.

Carp sitting under the head of a buffalo in the living room of the log cabin.

I chose the elk head.

Teepe on the grounds.

Some awesome horses along the way to the state park.

This was the wonderful campground we stayed at in Billings, Montana.
