San Antonio, TX

3/17/15 - visited the River Walk in San Antonio. We took a cruise down the romantic San Antonio River. There were sidewalk cafés, lush tropical foliage and charming boutiques.

Horse drawn Cinderella lighted carriage. Really pretty after dark. Folks could rent these carriages to take a tour ride around San Antonio. 

3/18/15 - Today we went to the Alamo & back to the River Walk. 

The Alamo is on the right of this picture. 

We were surprised to find the Alamo smack in the middle of the city. We thought that it would be in a more remote area.

We went back to the River Walk for a wonderful relaxing lunch where we were serenaded by a mariachi. It was great!  Picture a little blurry.  

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time in San Antonio!!!
